The Secretary of LACAC, Mr. Jaime Binder, participated in the opening of the EU-CORSIA Workshop: “CORSIA Monitoring, reporting and verification methodologies and data collection tools under th”, which was held from September 21 to 23, 2021, funded by the European Union and implemented by EASA.
On September 8, 2021, the Forty-Eighth Virtual Meeting of the Group of Experts on Political, Economic and Legal Affairs of Air Transport, GEPEJTA / 48V, of this Commission was held. 14 member states, five non-member states, and four international organizations participated.
The LACAC Secretary participated in the inauguration and also with a presentation in the Webinar on “The Security of Civil Aviation (Security) and Air Cargo”, an activity held on September 1 and 2, which was organized by the General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics of Chile, with the sponsorship of the ICAO South American Office (SAM).
