From 12 to 16 October, the LACAC Secretariat held the LACAC-CAAS Course on Resolution of Safety Issues in Lima, Peru, under the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). The opening ceremony was presided over by Paola Marín, Director General of Civil Aeronautics of Peru. The course brought together 28 representatives from Argentina, Aruba, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru and Venezuela, who enhanced their knowledge and exchanged experiences in the field of aviation safety. This initiative reaffirms the commitment of LACAC and CAAS to developing technical capabilities and strengthening civil aviation safety in the region.
