On 14 October, in Paris, within the framework of the ECAC-EU European Air Transport Dialogue, the President of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (LACAC) and President of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) of the Dominican Republic, Julio Peña Guzmán, held a bilateral meeting with Patricia Reverdy, Executive Secretary of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC). During the meeting, both officials agreed to strengthen cooperation between Latin America and Europe and to prioritize women’s participation and professional development in the international aviation industry. Among the main agreements was the organization of the Second Aviation Women’s Summit, scheduled to take place in Santiago, Chile, in November 2027.
