The President of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) of the Dominican Republic and President of LACAC, Mr. Julio Peña Guzmán, accompanied by the LACAC Secretary, Mr. Jaime Binder, met on 8 September 2026 with the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, to discuss opportunities for cooperation with LACAC Member States. During the meeting, the Saudi official extended an invitation to participate in the Future Aviation Forum, to be held in Riyadh in April 2027, and proposed holding a special meeting with LACAC Member States on the sidelines of the forum to identify potential joint initiatives in civil aviation.
