The 62nd Meeting of the LACAC Group of Experts on Political, Economic and Legal Matters of Air Transport (GEPEJTA/62) was held in Lima, Peru, on 3 and 4 August 2026, with the participation of representatives from Member States and observer organizations. The meeting addressed progress in airport management, training, aviation safety, the environment, facilitation, gender equality, and regional preparations for ATConf/7. It also agreed to continue the work through the ad hoc groups and coordination mechanisms established within the framework of the Commission.
