During the XXVI Ordinary Assembly of LACAC on 9 November, the President of LACAC, Azucena Zelaya, invited the Executive Committee to the stage to honor, on behalf of the member States, the President of the ICAO Council, Mr. Salvatore Sciacchitano.
The recognition highlighted his leadership during the greatest crisis in the history of aviation, guiding the international aviation system through the pandemic and a complex global environment. LACAC expressed its respect and gratitude for his work and commitment to civil aviation.
