On March 6, in the context of International Women’s Day, a virtual discussion titled “Transformative Dialogues: Experiences and Challenges in the Implementation of Gender Policies in Civil Aviation Authorities of Latin America and the Caribbean” was held. This event was promoted by the CLAC Ad Hoc Group on Gender Equality, composed of Brazil, Chile (coordinator), Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Uruguay. With the participation of more than 140 attendees, the meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress made in implementing gender policies in the region’s aviation sector, as well as to identify persistent barriers and opportunities to strengthen equity in the industry.
