From March 10 to 13, the President of the Executive Committee of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (LACAC), Azucena Zelaya, and the Secretary General, Jaime Binder, held meetings in Japan with senior representatives from the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB), led by Ms. NAKAYAMA Rieko, Director General of International Aviation, and Mr. TAKAHASHI Yasuhito, Director of the International Air Transport Division, Aviation Networks Department. During the working sessions, strategic topics of mutual interest were discussed, such as strengthening connectivity between Japan and Latin America, cooperation in training, environmental strategies in the aviation sector, and Japan’s experience in airport infrastructure. These meetings reflect the commitment of both parties to consolidating cooperation in the field of civil aviation and promoting sustainable air transport development in the region.
