The LACAC Secretary participated in the ALTA Aviation Safety, Flight Ops & Training Summit, on June 19 and 20 in Lima, Peru. In addition to the event’s packed agenda, it stood out for the interesting and thoughtful words of Pedro Algorta, one of the survivors of the plane crash in the Andes Mountains in 1972. His talk served as a powerful motivator, encouraging attendees to steadily continue in security tasks in the aviation industry.
