The President of the Executive Committee, Mr. Leonardo Blengini, and the Secretary of the LACAC, Mr. Jaime Binder, participated in an official visit to the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) in Doha, the 1st and 2nd of February of 2024. On this occasion, there was also an interview with the Minister of Transport and Mr. Jassim bin Saif Al-Sulaiti, reaffirming, in this way, cooperation and mutual understanding. Within the conversation topics, the priority was to ratify the protocols relating to the amendments of art. 50 a) and art. 56 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation; the support for the implementation of future meetings of importance to ICAO; future elections of the ICAO Council; and international cooperation in aeronautics.
