The course “Airport Landside Security” was held in the city of Lima, Peru, from October 16 to 20 of this year, and was sponsored by the General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics of Peru. It was taught by Mr. Jonghwan Yoon and Ms. SoYoon Jin, instructors from the Korean Civil Aviation Authority, and 29 officials from the administrations of 2 LACAC member States participated. This course sought to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to design and implement preventive security measures in the landside area of an airport.
