On July 19, 2021, the Secretary of LACAC delivered some opening remarks at the workshop titled: “Capacity building for CO2 mitigation from international aviation Africa and Caribbean (CORSIA Africa and Caribbean)” organized by EASA. He stated, during the workshop, that Europe shows a way forward with the “European Green Deal”, which seeks to transform the EU into a sustainable economy. In this context, the assistance with the implementation of CORSIA in the Caribbean region is an example of the commitment to the environment at a global level. (More information)
