As part of the activities carried out during the 109th Executive Committee Meeting of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (LACAC), held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on 22 and 23 July 2026, and following an international selection process, Mr. Jaime Binder was elected by a majority of the Executive Committee members as Secretary General of the Commission for a new term of office. His new contract will commence on 1 January 2027. The Executive Committee extended its best wishes for success in the performance of his duties.
