On April 8 and 9, 2026, the President of LACAC, Mr. Héctor Porcella, together with the Secretary, Mr. Jaime Binder, participated in the “Wings of Change Americas” conference, organized by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Santiago, Chile.
Under the theme “Beyond borders: aviation as a driver of economic transformation,” the event brought together leaders from the aviation sector to address a broad agenda aimed at strengthening strategic collaboration, regional connectivity, economic growth, and global competitiveness.
