At the invitation of the Director General of Civil Aviation of Chile, Mr. Humberto Fernández Pittari, the President of LACAC, Mr. Héctor Porcella, together with the Secretary of the Commission, Mr. Jaime Binder, participated on April 6, 2026, in the official presentation ceremony of the T-40 NEWEN, the new basic training aircraft of the Chilean Air Force.
The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Chile, Mr. José Antonio Kast, who held a brief exchange with the President of LACAC on issues related to the Latin American aeronautical community and technological advances applied to aviation.
