Within the framework of the CVIII Meeting of the LACAC Executive Committee, on April 6, 2026, Bolivia signed instruments on the liberalization of air traffic rights in the region.
During the signing ceremony, Mr. José Fanola, Executive Director of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Bolivia, formalized a memorandum related to all-cargo services up to seventh freedom rights and another on combined cargo and passenger services up to sixth freedom rights.
The event was also attended by Bolivia’s Minister of Public Works, Services and Housing, Mr. Mauricio Zamora, together with the President and the Secretary of LACAC. At the closing, Minister Zamora highlighted the importance of advancing open skies policies in the region.
