The Secretary of LACAC, Jaime Binder, participated in the Eighteenth Meeting of Civil Aviation Authorities of the SAM Region (RAAC/18), held from February 24 to 26 in São Paulo, Brazil. During the meeting, progress was made on the Civil Aviation Transformation Strategy in the SAM Region, addressing key topics such as competitiveness, governance, human resources, environment, efficiency, and innovation.
Additionally, on February 26, he took part in the Thirty-Sixth Ordinary Meeting of the General Board (JG/36) of the Regional Safety Oversight Cooperation System, within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 1998 between the President of LACAC and ICAO.
