In the context of GISS 2026 in Marrakech, on 14 April, LACAC held a bilateral meeting with María Rueda, Director of Safety Management, Sustainability and Global Outreach of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The meeting highlighted the importance of technical cooperation provided by Europe for strengthening the region’s capacities. Both parties also agreed on the need to continue this work, reaffirming the strategic value of collaboration with EASA for the technical and institutional development of CLAC Member States.
