On April 28 and 29, 2026, the Sixty-First Meeting of the Group of Experts on Political, Economic, and Legal Air Transport Matters (GEPEJTA/61) was held in a hybrid format, with the participation of 81 delegates—52 in person and 29 virtually—representing 14 Member States and 6 observer entities. The opening session was led by Ms. Paola Marín Ugarte, Director General of Civil Aviation of Peru, who highlighted the importance of regional cooperation in air transport matters.
