On April 14, within the framework of GISS 2026, LACAC held a bilateral meeting with the Eurasian Civil Aviation Conference (EACAC). The meeting provided a valuable exchange on international aviation governance issues, in an environment of constructive dialogue and full respect for the Commission’s institutional processes and the specific dynamics of ICAO.
Representing the delegation of Kazakhstan and EuroAsia were Saltanat Tompiyeva, Chairperson of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Timur Tlegenov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to ICAO; and other members of the delegation.
