The Presidents of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC), the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), and the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (LACAC) signed a Declaration of Cooperation in the context of the 42nd Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) on 22 September.
The agreement aims to strengthen interregional coordination and establish common goals in the areas of operational safety, aviation security, facilitation, and economic, social, and environmental sustainability. It also seeks to align these objectives with the evolution of global air transport and reaffirms the organizations’ commitment to work together to consolidate a safer, more efficient, and sustainable civil aviation system for the benefit of all regions.
