The Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (LACAC), together with the Civil Aviation Authority of Guatemala, successfully held the First Women’s Summit of aviation authorities on August 18, 2025, in Guatemala City. The event included panels on Technical Education and Training and Participation and Leadership, workshops, working groups, and presentations focused on health, work-life balance, and gender equity. The Summit became a milestone on LACAC’s agenda thanks to the launch of the Women’s Network.
