The Secretary of LACAC participated in the “Regional Workshop on SBAS for Stakeholders across the LATAM Region,” held in Lima on April 21 and 22, 2025. The event, organized by EASA, brought together authorities and experts from multiple sectors. Experiences were shared among representatives from Europe, Korea, Africa, and Latin America, highlighting that solutions must emerge from within the region itself. Participants from ICAO SAM, NACC, and LACAC agreed that a regional approach is the most appropriate. LACAC’s participation reaffirms its commitment to innovation and the modernization of air navigation in Latin America and the Caribbean.
