The LACAC Secretary, Jaime Binder, participated in the ALTA AGM & Airline Leaders Forum, held from October 28 to 30, 2024, in Nassau, Bahamas, where the development of a “regional roadmap for Latin America and the Caribbean” was announced. This initiative, led by ALTA, aims to support aviation’s sustainable transition toward decarbonization goals by 2050. It seeks to facilitate a transition tailored to the region’s particularities and opportunities, promoting the development of an environmentally committed aviation sector.
