The 56th Meeting of the Group of Experts on Political, Economic, and Legal Affairs of Air Transport (GEPEJTA/56) was held in San Salvador, El Salvador, from July 18 to 19, 2024. The inauguration was attended by Homero Morales, Executive Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of El Salvador; Juan Carlos Canales, Airport Manager of the Autonomous Port Executive Commission (CEPA); Azucena Zelaya, President of LACAC; and Morena Valdez, Minister of Tourism of El Salvador. With the participation of delegations from nine member states and two observer organizations, the meeting addressed the topics of LACAC’s operational plan.
