Within the framework of the Seventh Extraordinary Assembly of LACAC and the celebration of the 50 years of its creation, the Round Table “Role of Women in Commercial Aviation” was held, with the participation of Ms. Paola Bullon (International Relations LACAC) as moderator, and the panelists: Ms. Andile Mtetwa-Amaeshi (Director General of ESWACAA), Ms. Katherin Martinez (Representative of El Salvador on the ICAO Council), Ms. Patricia Reverdy (Executive Secretary of ECAC), Ms. Viviana Iturriaga (Representative of Chile on the ICAO Council) and Ms. Carla Iorio (Section Manager – EASA). The panel discussed topics related to the objective of reducing the gender inequality gap in the sector and experiences were shared that helped provide a more specific perspective on the topic.
