On October 9, in the city of Caracas, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the ICAO Environmental Seminar took place. The event was attended by Mr. Leonardo Blengini, President of CLAC, and Mr. Giovanni Tobar, expert and focal point for the environmental macro-task of CLAC. “During this Seminar, key topics were addressed, such as the report from the Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection (CAEP) on LTO emissions, eligibility of fuels under CORSIA, strategies to facilitate the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), and how we can collaborate in achieving the Technology-based Emission Limits (LTAG). Issues related to the ICAO ACT-SAF Program, its benefits and opportunities, as well as the necessary feasibility studies, were also discussed.”
