From April 14 to 16, 2026, in Marrakech, Morocco, the Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS) 2026 of ICAO was held under the theme “Regional Solutions, Global Benefits,” with the participation of the President of CLAC, Mr. Héctor Porcella, together with the Secretary of the Commission and delegations from Latin America and the Caribbean.
Among the main conclusions of the meeting is the adoption of the Marrakech Call to Action, an agreement that reaffirms the commitment of States to strengthening governance, financing aviation development, and training new generations of professionals, in line with the “No Country Left Behind” initiative.
