On September 12, 2024, the LACAC Secretariat received an official visit from Mr. Juan Pablo Franco Castro, Director of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC/CAA) of Ecuador. During the meeting, the Director met with the Secretary of LACAC to discuss relevant issues, among them, Ecuador’s future application to the ICAO Council, as well as other matters of common interest.
